26.2 MILES FOR MND 💙

Today, our colleague Dave Best, his brother in law Liam Deakin and his father-in-law Stephen John Deakin are taking on the full marathon challenge in support of Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

After months of training and preparation, Stephen was unfortunately diagnosed with GTPS this week and has been advised that completing the full distance could cause further damage.

But anyone who knows Stephen will know that sitting it out completely was never going to happen!

Dave, Liam and Stephen will be joined by others for three sections of the route, including that all-important final leg, as they take on 26.2 miles to raise money and awareness for MND and to support the children and families left behind by this devastating disease.

The support so far has been absolutely incredible, with the fundraising total expected to reach close to £16,000 towards a £20,000 target once the remaining sponsorships come in.

As a business, everyone at BEECHCROFT are incredibly proud of Dave, Liam and Stephen and the commitment they have shown to this fantastic cause.
